Air Pollution

Image
What Is  Air  Pollution  ? The release of pollutants into the atmosphere is defined as air pollution—pollutants that are harmful to human health and the environment. Each year, air pollution kills nearly seven million people worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). There are various causes of air pollution. When solid and liquid particles, known as aerosols and certain gases, end up in our atmosphere, they cause air pollution. Because these particles and gases can be harmful to the environment and our health, it is critical to keep track of them. Breathing fresh and clean air has become nearly impossible due to increasing air pollutants. Everyone is concerned about their health because of the causes of air pollution. Air Pollutants Air pollutants are classified into two types: Primary Pollutants Primary pollutants are those that contribute directly to air pollution. Sulfur dioxide, emitted by factories, is a primary pollutant. Secondary Pollutants

What is canal irrigation?

Image
What is canal irrigation?   A canal is an artificial waterway that is built  to bring water to the fields so that irrigation can be performed . The water comes either from a tank or reservoir, or it comes directly from the river. What is the use of canal?             A canal is a human-made waterway that allows boats and ships to pass from one body of water to another. Canals are also used  to transport water for irrigation and other human uses . What is a canal example? One of the most famous canals is the Panama Canal. This canal was built across Central America at the narrowest point between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It significantly reduced shipping times between the two oceans and has been extremely important in global trade and commerce What are the advantages of canal? They generate income to government . They cover large area for irrigation. Canals are effective means to sustain drought. Carry sediment which enrich the fertility of soil.     What

Geodetic surveying

Image
Geodetic surveying is  a method of measuring large areas of the earth's surface with high accuracy and precision . It uses a reference system such as the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84) to define coordinates and elevations of points on the earth.   An example of a geodetic survey could be  a topographic survey of a new construction site . The surveyors would use specialized equipment, such as GPS receivers and total stations, to measure the elevation and location of various points on the site. Geodetic Survey:   The surveys in which the curvature of the earth is taken into consideration  are known as geodetic surveying. All lines lying on the surface are curved lines and the triangles are spherical triangles. It is considered to be geodetic when the limit of the survey is more than 250 km2.   What is geodetic survey principle? This is a type of surveying in which  the shape of the earth is taken into account . All lines are taken as curved lines and triangles

What Is A Crane

Image
What Is A Crane? A crane is a machine used to lift and move heavy loads, machines, materials, and objects for various purposes. Different types of cranes are used in almost all industries, from construction to manufacturing to shipbuilding and material handling. Cranes are more often on the horizon because they are needed to build the skyscrapers that we often see in our cities today. In this article, we’ll discuss various types of cranes used in construction. Components Of Crane There are many cranes available based on the project requirements, which are discussed in detail below, But all cranes generally contain the following basic components: ·          Boom ·          Jib ·          Rotex Gear ·          Outriggers ·          Counterweights ·          Reinforced-steel cable ·          Hook Boom   It is a long arm that can be telescopic or fixed. The main purpose of the boom is to lift, move, and place/position the material. They carry most of the load an
